It all began a little over 20 years ago when 2 brothers took a job at a local auto parts company called Thrifty Auto Supply. One still in school, one just out of school, both thought that this would just be like any school aged job, temporary. To their surprise and delight they found their passion in the automotive field. Along the way they began fixing cars with other like minded coworkers/friends. As the years went by Thrifty Auto Supply sold their company to a nationwide Auto Parts company, giving them the opportunity to further their automotive knowledge. They were able to take courses, attend mechanic training classes sponsored by their companies and vendors, etc. As the years went buy they all grew in the field, until one fateful night in 2021 when a local shop owner let them know he was moving and encouraged them to take the opportunity to open their own shop. So Gabe, Jas, and one of their good friends from the beginning, Juan, decided to seize the opportunity and Gresham Automotive Services was born. Along the way a couple more of the old friends came on board as techs. Unfortunately in 2022 tragedy descended on the shop with the passing of Juan. The shop carried on through those sad times and today you can find some of the original friends as well as a couple new ones in the bays, sharing their love of the industry with your vehicle.
